The Western Isles People's Health Network, is aimed at anyone living within the Western Isles.

It is a network for anyone with an interest in health, health services or social care services. It is a way of linking patients, carers and the wider public with what is going on across NHS Western Isles, and giving you a choice of ways to get involved.

It provides you with the oportunity to tell us what services you would like to receive information on and be involved in. You will then receive information on that service area through the means you would prefer, be that a letter, email or phonecall.

Network members have a representative on the CHaSCP Committee, the planning and consultation body that sits at the heart of the CHaSCP.

This means members have the opportunity to have their opinions represented to the committee responsible for planning health and care services throughout the Islands, and have the opportunity to be kept up to date of new proposals.

Your representative, Catriona Cook, has now joined the Committee and looks forward to representing your views. Catriona will provide a regular update on CHaSCP meetings on the website and looks forward to hearing from you.
