The Locality Planning Group in Westside is the longest established group, having come into being as a Local Health Care Cooperative group five years ago. The group have met regularly ever since. Membership is varied and drawn from the different practice areas, with both professional and patient representatives in attendance. Meetings are held throughout the area and in many ways have set the pattern for newer groups to follow.

Work of the group has included a house numbering scheme which has been useful to health and social care professionals - as well as having knock-on benefits for lots of others!

Members have agreed a constitution and have elected office bearers. Toni Symon has been elected as Chair and Emma Drye has been elected as Secretary. Lorna Eller hs been elected as Treasurer.
